ayan Rand vs Jesus

Rand is neither a good novelist nor a good philosopher. However, she was an intellectual of note, and she has had a powerful effect on American political thinking. Most interesting to me is the obvious fact that her deciples have never read her. If they did, they might be shocked by many of her views--her views on such things as abortion and monogamy. These views are quite different than those of Rand and Ron Paul, and many social conservatives.

Ayn Rand, Jesus

It seems the louder conservative Christians proclaim a message of Jesus as Savior the more they ignor Jesus the prophet of social responsibility.

"... Every modern institution faces crises in this complex, chaotic century. What differentiates great organizations is whether and how they react, specifically their ability to galvanize a robust, united response to their challenges. Faced with urgent crises, healthy organizations rally together to save the institution they love. Unhealthy organizations play the blame game."

“Religion is a very complex subject, spanning the whole spectrum of human behavior. It can be an ethical, exalted expression, but religion can also be a mind-control technique to subjugate the masses.”
