Bishops See Progress in Unity Effort, Focus on 2 Plans

Option 1

The lack of proposing option one is going to unify the conservatives like never before. Why the bishops think any conservative will accept option 2 or 3 is beyond me. They all leave us yoked to those who have an opposite theology. The idea of separate central conferences will not fly and something akin to this was rejected in 2008. The local option was about to be crushed in 2016 when the commission for a way forward was proposed to stop the move. Why anyone thinks the same delegates will not propose and pass strict accountability this time is beyond me. Instead of proposing a complete split with us tied at the World Methodist council that would have been peaceful, now there will be a war at the GC2019 and we will all come out bloodied. BAD IDEA! Somebody is going to leave the hard way as in the PCA/PCUSA split.
