NOBLESVILLE, IN – The Rev. Dr. Michael Slaughter, Pastor Emeritus of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church (UMC) in Tipp City, Ohio, (north of Dayton) will be the featured speaker during a rally of the Room for All Coalition, Sunday, May 19 at 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. CT) at Noblesville’s First UMC.
Similar rallies will be held at Hillcrest UMC in Elkhart, Ind. and Neu Chapel on the campus of the University of Evansville. A video presentation will be shown featuring the Rev. Adam Hamilton, senior pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS, America’s largest United Methodist congregation with more than 20,000 members.

During the 90-minute rally, participants also will witness a panel discussion shared from an LGBTQ+ perspective, an introduction of coalition endorsed candidates to the 2020 Indiana General Conference delegation of The United Methodist Church, plus updates, questions and hopes shared going into the UMC-Next conversations at the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS May 20-22 hosted by Hamilton.
