The Pope's Proposed Resignation

The Pope's desire to resign from the papacy is something that we can, and should applaud. He understands the realities of heading a denomination. At his age, it was wise for him, and he was conscious enough to step aside for someone else to lead. Not that his leadership was bad. He just loves the church, God, and himself. I wish some church leaders, whose desire it is to 'die' in their positions, had the spiritual discernment to step aside. When the time is up, the time is up. The Pope made a Godly move.
