Not willfully ignorant

Just spent 25 years in the field of scientific/medical research and absolutely know how woefully imperfect it is! I am also skeptical that if humanity is truly responsible for the climate change that said damage can be reversed in 10 years.

Whoa, now! By what authority or expertise does this retired preacher call me “willfully ignorant”?

Maybe I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I stay amused at the weather forecasters with their often less-than-perfect forecasts on tomorrow’s weather, as they cover their prognostications with percentages, probabilities that it will or will not… So how can “scientists” be 100% certain that in X number of years, life on the planet will cease? No probabilities, its 100% sure that unless we do as they say, its all over! Never mind that there is no proof, only computer-generated “models”, extrapolations of assumptions plugged into programs likely written with some bias.
“Willfully Ignorant” is typical liberal branding of we who are “Justifiably Skeptical” of the dramatic doomsday diatribes of the enviro-elites (usually academia scientists chasing grants). They make a living threatening us with dying, but their forecasts fail to come true and the liberal press never calls them on it, highlights the errors nor sooths our nerves with the other side of the story.
Look at Al Gore, for example: This article: humansarefree.com/2018/01/al-gores-10-global-warming-predictions.html Al Gore’s 10 Global Warming Predictions, 12 Years Later — None Happened! ... anniversary of former Vice President Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth” revealing the “grave” threat of global warming. On January 26, 2006 the Washington Post stated Al “believes humanity may have only 10 years left to save the planet from turning ...” Google “Global warming predictions that never came to pass” – you will find a plethora!

Behold, a new UN “study” launches a new wave of enviro-hysteria but is likely just a new attempt to rob the American taxpayer’s cash drawer. We studied the “details” of the Paris Accord, and recognized that American taxpayers were obligated to pay Third World countries to help them become less polluting. Have you toured many Third World countries? Now that we pulled out of their Paris “Bill-the-yanks” annuity, they are searching for a new cash cow; enter the UN with a study. The world demands it!
Meanwhile, I returned today from an RV camping visit at Galveston, an ocean contact point for me all my life. The sea remains exactly where it has been my 71 years, shellfish and snapper are as tasty as before, and the sea air is as sweet to me as ever. Has nothing much really changed or am I just too willfully ignorant to notice?
