2 Corinthians 13:11-13 Matthew 28:16-20
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him, but they doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
The mission of the church does not end with being sent. It is sustained with the presence, the grace, and the communion of God. Matthew 28 sends us, and 2 Corinthians 13:11-13 covers us with a powerful blessing to live out that mission.
The Great Commission: A call that shakes the soul. Jesus declares all authority and sends his disciples to make disciples, to baptize, and to teach. For example, it is like a firefighter responding to an urgent call. The church has received an urgent mission: to bring life to a needy world. We are not called to comfort, but to action. Jesus did not just send the disciples; he also empowered them so that they would be able to fulfill the mission – even though some had doubts. Because sometimes there are doubts in our hearts, since it is not an easy task. But Jesus approaches his disciples as a father teaching a child to walk when the child is afraid or is doubtful about taking the first step. So, the Master teaches and sends his disciples – giving them confidence, affirming that they are not alone, that his presence will accompany them always.
The authority that supports the mission is like a father who doesn’t leave his children by themselves. Our Lord does not leave the church all by itself. “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” And we are heaven’s ambassadors, God’s representatives here on earth. And it is our mission to go to make disciples of all nations for the transformation of the world. When we speak of Christ, heaven supports us. When we preach the Word, lives are transformed. And the Holy Spirit of God sustains us and guides us, and the divine grace of God always accompanies us.
Our mission is not just to go and make disciples, baptize, and teach, but also to give life, to transmit peace, and eternal security. It is to make a call that transforms, that changes radically, not only in thoughts and emotions. It is to have a life that transmits light for those who walk in darkness. It is a total change in persons. The promise of our Lord Jesus Christ is: “I am with you always, to the end of the age.” His presence will always go with us in every moment, even when we don’t feel it. He will never abandon us. “I am with you always, to the end of the age.” This promise personally gives me strength to continue knowing that I am not alone, that God is in control, and is taking care of me and my church, not because I deserve it, but because of grace.
In addition, there is the Apostolic Blessing that sustains the church (2 Cor. 13:11-13). “11 Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Be restored; listen to my appeal; agree with one another; live in peace. . .” This passage reveals how the church should live in the midst of the mission. For me to preach the Word, to baptize, and to teach fills my heart with pleasure, with joy, and with peace. And I believe it is a privilege that has been given to us. It is not by accident that we are called by God to carry his message of salvation to everyone – in other words, to put on Jesus Christ is really to reflect his character, and to be in communion with the Holy Spirit. Since it is the greatest blessing that sustains believers and servants of the Lord and His Church, which should be united in a similar feeling, love, and spirit.
The grace of God saves us and raises us. His love affirms that we are His children. And the communion of the Holy Spirit guides us each day.
Conclusion
The Great Commission sends us. The Apostolic blessing sustains us. We cannot fulfill the mission without living in grace, in love, and in communion. Today God calls you to two things. Go to the world and live in unity with God and with others to give and to know the Good News of salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

La misión de la iglesia no termina con ser enviado, se sostiene con la presencia, la gracia y la comunión de Dios. Mateo 28 nos envía, y 2 Corintios 13:11-13 nos cubre con una bendición poderosa para vivir esa misión.
La Gran Comisión: Un llamado que sacude el alma. Jesús declara toda autoridad y envía a sus discípulos a hacer discípulos, bautizar y enseñar. Por ejemplo, es como un bombero que responde al llamado urgente. La iglesia ha recibido una misión urgente: llevar vida a un mundo necesitado, no estamos llamados a la comodidad, sino a la acción. Jesus no solo envió a los discípulos, sino que los empoderó, para que ellos cumplieran con misión, a un con dudas, porque a veces hay dudas en nuestros corazones, ya que nos es una tarea fácil, pero Jesus se acerca a sus discípulos, como un padre que enseña a caminar a su hijo, cuando tiene miedo o duda de dar el primer paso, así él Maestro, enseña y envía a sus discípulos, dándoles confianza afirmándose que no están solos que su presencia les acompañará siempre.
La autoridad que respalda la misión, y así como un padre no deja solo a sus hijos, nuestro Señor no deja sola a la iglesia, “Toda autoridad me es dada…” y somos embajadores del cielo, sus representantes aquí en la tierra y es nuestra misión de Id y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, para la transformación de mundo, cuando hablamos de Cristo, el cielo respalda, cuando predicamos su Palabra, hay vidas transformadas, y El Espíritu Santo de Dios, nos sostiene y nos guia y la gracia divina de Dios nos acompaña siempre.
Nuestra misión no solo es de ir y hacer discípulos, bautizar y enseñar, si no es de ir a dar vida, a transmitir paz, seguridad Eterna, es hacer un llamado que transforma, que cambia, radicalmente, no solamente en pensamientos y emociones es tener una vida que transmite luz, para quienes andan en oscuridad, es un cambio total en las personas. La promesa de nuestro Señor Jesucristo es : “Yo estoy con vosotros todos los días…” Su presencia siempre irá en cada momento aun cuando no lo sentimos, jamás nos ha abandonado “Yo estoy con vosotros todos los días…” Esta promesa en lo personal me da fuerzas para seguir sabiendo que no estoy sola, que Dios está en control y cuidándome a mí y a su iglesia, no porque lo merezca sino por su gracia.
También la bendición apostólica que sostiene la iglesia (2 Corintios 13:11-13) “Por lo demás, hermanos, tened gozo, perfeccionaos, consolaos, sed de un mismo sentir, y vivid en paz…” Este pasaje revela cómo debe vivir la iglesia en medio de la misión. Para mí predicar la Palabra, bautizar, enseñar, llena mi corazón de gozo, de alegría, de paz, y creo que es un privilegio que se nos ha encomendado, no es una casualidad somos llamados por Dios a llevar su mensaje de salvación, a toda persona, en otras Palabras revestirnos de Jesucristo, es más bien reflejar su carácter, estar en comunión con El Espíritu Santo, ya que es la bendiciones más grande que nos sostiene a los creyentes y a los siervos del Señor, y a su iglesia la cual debe de estar unida en un mismo sentir, en un mismo amor, en un mismo espíritu.
La gracia de Dios nos salva y nos levanta su amor nos afirma como hijos e hijas suyos, y la comunión del Espíritu Santo nos guia cada dia.
Conclusión
La Gran Comisión nos envía, la bendición apostólica nos sostiene, no podemos cumplir la misión sin vivir en: Gracia en Amor, en Comunión, hoy Dios te llama a dos cosas:. Ir al mundo y. vivir en unidad con Él y con otros y dar a conocer las buenas nuevas de salvación en el nombre de Jesucristo Amén.
