Water Baptism vs. Spiritual Baptism

Water Baptism was for the Jews. It was started by John the Baptist. It is a sign to other Jews that they believed Jesus was the Son of God. Acts 2: 36 - 38 defines this clearly. Peter spoke only to the House of Israel, no gentiles. The Group had asked what must WE do to be saved? The answer was Repent, be (water) Baptized and believe Jesus is the Messiah.(Son of God)

Now Paul comes along with his message of Grace for Gentiles. He only asks that you believe, Jesus has died for your sins, was buried, and arose (Resurrected) . If the Resurrection is not part of your Salvation belief, you are still in your sins, per ! Corinthians 15: 17. In 1 Corinthians 1: 17, he writes, I was not sent to (water Baptize) but to preach the Gospel. ( 1 Corinthians 15: 1 - 4) In Galatians 1: 8, he writes a warning to those that would preach any other Gospel, as they would be accursed.

The Church has not preached the Gospel that Paul gave us. It has preached other gospels. If we do not return to Paul's writings, we are, and have been on our way to Apostasy.
