I find it interesting that we Christians find it necessary to reinvent the wheel on any given topic. Jews pray first thing every morning. That requirement was in effect during Christ's lifetime. Why did the church ever abandon the practice?

Just imagine how much more mature we all would be if we hadn't abandoned the ways of Jesus and the Jewish people. Just imagine all the pogroms and inquisitions that would have never happened. No holocaust.
