Reverend Anna is blissfully unaware of the history of same-sex consequences in the life of the denominations where it has been accepted... they’re all dying!

Buddy Whatley, I hear many times the argument that other denominations that have accepted same-sex in the life of their denominations are dying. The implication than being we should not as United Methodists accept a change in the stance in the Social Principles of the Book of Discipline. However I have to ask the make this comment to challenge this argument. Name me a denomination that is not dying in the USA right now. We are already closing more churches than opening new ones. We already have forgotten how to do discipleship and evangelism. The current direction the WCA wants is not helping to accomplish the goal of making disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. It instead is pushing a schism. IMO.
