Immigration Law and Justice Network, a mission sponsored by The United Methodist Church, will train paticipants on Monday, April 6 for its Virtual Lobby Day on Wednesday, April 8.
Lobby Day Training on Monday, April 6, at 3 pm CDT / 4 pm EDT will teach participants how to:
- Lead effective discussions with your members of Congress
- Center immigrant stories for persuasive impact
- Craft a clear and compelling ask
- Practice through role-play to bolster ease and confidence
Remembering those killed during ICE raids and while in ICE and CBP custody, ILJ Network and partners will meet with U.S. Senators and Representatives in Washington, D.C., to stand up for the right of due process and the dignity of all people residing in the United States.
“On Wednesday, April 8, we will demand that our government remove ICE and Border Patrol from our communities.,” said ILJ Network’s press release.
