Racism Must Go, But How to Get There?

Nobody can dismantle racism

The current attempts to do so are only making things worse. There are reports of young children coming home from school and for the first time in their life they are aware of race and are unsure if it is OK to have someone as a friend who is of a different color. A biracial child in Nevada was asked to disown his "white side'. All of the above has resulted in parents pulling their children from school. Recently, my adult daughter who cruises social media said that she has never been so aware of race in her life. As Morgan Freeman says, the best way to deal with racism is to quit talking about it and quit putting people into different categories. And for heaven's sake, stop making this a "white" problem. It is absolutely everybody's problem.
