Friends, this is no Disney re-telling of a villain’s backstory, sympathy-for-the-devil kind of Christmas Pageant. This is A Die Hard Christmas Pageant, Part 2! I’m afraid Herod has stepped into the Hans Grüber role quite nicely, recklessly ruining Ms. Wesley’s perfect Christmas Pageant with his greedy plot to steal the non-specific vaguely ethnic baby Jesus doll! Oh no! But overhearing from a nearby wing, John was keeping watch over the shepherd flock. Will he have what it takes to save the pageant from the terrorizing of Herod the Great? Perhaps after this series, you will find yourself saying, “It isn’t really Christmas until Herod falls from the Nakatomi Plaza”?
