Focused Too Much on the Marvin Gaye Perspective

This analysis is more oriented to the Marvin Gaye song that biblical scholarship. God is not doing a "new" thing. He did this "once for all" with the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. The "new thing" argument is just a cover for bending the Bible to suit so called modern notions and desires. The Isaiah quotation speaks to the redemption of Israel through the Messiah, not "itching ears" wanting to make Holy Scripture say what they want it to say. Read carefully what the book of Jude (it's a short book) has to say about the faith delivered once for all to the saints and the danger in trying to reinterpret it. For further reference read what Jeremiah has to say about false prophets.
