Dear Brothers & Sister's in Christ Jesus,
The Bible says, "Woe to those who call good evil and evil good". In the most loving way I can say, please don't take this word from God lightly. From Allendale UMC in St. Petersburg hosting Ms. Penny Cost and speaking with the children, I believe that it has opened itself up to God's judgment. God must stand by His word. He does not lie. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you as you stand on His word. If you stray from it or compromise it in any way, Jesus Christ Himself says, "If anyone takes words away from this book (of prophecy), God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city".
No one on earth can change or alter what God says. Not any person can add nor subtract anything to the word of God. Doing so is called compromise and it is wrong. Look at what Jesus Christ says to the church of Laodicea. God is loving and God is forgiving but you have to know what you and your church are doing is wrong. There is no such thing as compromise in God's word. All throughout the Bible God speaks of the consequences of compromise and there are penalties for doing so. I pray that the the Holy Spirit gives you and your church wisdom and discernment from this time onward.

Gratitude for breakaway churches
Thanks be to God for those U M churches that have opted to break away from the United Methodist Church and Episcopal Church. With Bishops like Sue Haupert-Johnson and twice-divorced V. Eugene Robinson, these denominations have perverted the Word and Will of God as it pertains to marriage and sexuality as exhibited by the lifestyles of the LGBTQ+ community. Moreover, as a former Methodist long before the merger with the once doctrinally sound EUB denomination, I am also grateful to those African UMC delegates whose convention votes prevented the UMC denomination from adopting even more radical provisions in its constitution and bylaws.
