Nicodemus

When so many Pharisees closed their hearts to Jesus, Nicodemus has seen something special in Jesus and comes to know more. He tells Jesus we know you are from God or you couldn't be working these miracles. Jesus figure of speech throws him at first, but Jesus explains that you must be born of the Spirit to be a child of God. Jesus explains he has come to save the world, not that the world might be condemned. Jesus speaks quite literally as he concludes the discussion with Nicodemus in John 3:19-21. “This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.” (CSB) Today is a good day to open our hearts to God and live like Jesus lived.
