Thanks be to God for those U M churches that have opted to break away from the United Methodist Church and Episcopal Church. With Bishops like Sue Haupert-Johnson and twice-divorced V. Eugene Robinson, these denominations have perverted the Word and Will of God as it pertains to marriage and sexuality as exhibited by the lifestyles of the LGBTQ+ community.
Moreover, as a former Methodist long before the merger with the once doctrinally sound EUB denomination, I am also grateful to those African UMC delegates whose convention votes prevented the UMC denomination from adopting even more radical provisions in its constitution and bylaws.
