‘Tis the season to read a devotional or story written by a pastor from Holston Conference. Several Holstonians are authors, but did you know that five are Advent authors, including a bishop? Choose from these books, starting with the most recently published:
Hope for the Holidays: Exploring the Message of Hope in the Christmas Story (2022), by the Rev. Andrew Curtis Lay. He is currently pastor at Wesley Memorial, Carlock and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Churches, all in Etowah, Tennessee.
God Broke Through at Christmas: A Daily Advent Study (2021), by Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett. She is resident bishop of Holston Conference and the North Alabama Conference.
