4 Agencies Video
Four United Methodist agencies concerned with gender, race and justice have joined together in a video webinar highlighted their legislation to the 2016 General Conference. The agencies are United Methodist Women, The General Board of Church and Society, the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women, and the General Commission on Religion and Race.
United Methodist Women focuses on mission and ministries to women and children. Church and Society is charged with fulfilling the social justice mandates set out by the General Conference, the only body that can speak for the entire global denomination.
GCOSROW and GCORR serve as monitoring agencies for The United Methodist Church. They track issues and events that pertain to women's rights and civil rights, particularly in the worldwide church but also in society at large.
