Mariachi
The student mariachi band from Lydia Patterson Institute in El Paso, TX, entertained several times during the South Central Jurisdictional Conference. "La Lydia," a high school for Spanish-speaking studies, is owned by the jurisdiction.

Dance Party
Maybe it was the lateness of the hour, but delegates and observers alike broke into vigorous dance moves as the pop song "YMCA" played at the South Central Jurisdictional Conference. The gathering was awaiting news of the assignment of bishops.
