The postponed 2020 General Conference kicked into gear April 24 by accomplishing a remarkable feat – getting ahead of its schedule. Whether that trend will continue as legislative pressures mount is anyone's guess, but it seemed a good omen for the start of a meeting centering on "cautious hope."
