The Rev. Dr. John Robbins, senior pastor of Pulaski Heights UMC in Little Rock, Ark., responded to negative pushback against General Conference's decisions to remove LGBTQ bans by saying that the United Methodist Church rests on a biblical foundation of love, mercy and grace taught by Jesus Christ.
