You are absolutely right!

And and the New Room Conference are acting on that very thing from a Wesleyan perspective! Spend a week with the Daily Text at Currently, J.D. Walt is doing a series on 1Corintihians and asking the hard questions about us as the church! And there is the weekly fast and the Sixth Day Exercise which is a weekly spiritual assessment. And just yesterday he stated what his driving force is and it falls in line with John Wesley's Priority #1 from which he never ever wavered: "I want you to be boldly faithful, generously spirited, gloriously alive disciples of Jesus Christ."
