Congrats to my fellow Eagle Scout!

from Richard F Hicks, Eagle Scout Class of '68.

During that turbulent year there were probably equal numbers of Eagle Scouts on any national issue.

Scouting began and still is a moment for peace. The Great War broke the heart of its founder.

Sadly today there aren't as many Eagle Scouts. The events of the last four months have shown that leaders with Scout peace making skills are required today.
