Friends, after a hard year, the Texas Annual Conference Clergy Band wants to remind us that our reason for the season, Jesus, brings love and joy even in the most difficult circumstances. In our humble opinion, their version rivals even the great rendition of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" by the incomparable Bruce Springsteen.
Troy Griffin of the Texas Conference produced the video featuring Rev. Morris Matthis' lyrics. The band includes Rev. Reggie Clemons and Bishop Scott Jones, vocals; Rev. DeAndre Johnson, keyboard; Rev. Marlin Fenn, bass; Rev. Drew Essen, guitar; Rev. Jimmy Calvert, drums; and Rev. Lance Richards, saxophone.
