Immigration ban

There is no ban. President Trump put a hold on refugees from seven specific parts of the world that are in chaos until we have the ability to properly vet the refugees. What he did is perfectly legal under the authority granted to him.

A bill passed the House with wide bi-partisan support last year. Here is an excerpt. An alien shall be ineligible for program participation who:
•has been present, at any time on or after March 1, 2011, in Iraq or Syria, in a country designated as one that has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism, or in any other country or area of concern designated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); It is constitutional since it is in accordance with Article 1 Section 8 of our Constitution.
Protecting the safety of the citizens of this country and our nation's borders is what we expect our president to do.
