Not All Religions

'Because that has been the pattern all through religious history: Just one deviation from the list of doctrines becomes grounds to tell the searcher, “Go to hell.”'

Not all religions are guilty of this sin. Indeed, the Jewish faith doesn't entertain the idea of 'Hell'.

Given Jesus was an Orthodox Jew, I wonder just why Christianity felt the collective 'need' to develop this concept?
