So Your Local Church Can't Do Ministry Because There's Gay Bishop Out There?

The overarching problem is not a gay bishop

The problem is the election of a gay bishop in defiance of decisions made by the designated procedures of the church now puts the future of the whole connection at risk! What progressives do not seem to understand is that in their impatient desire to bring the church into their version of a wonderful new future is that how the church functions, how we work and live together is now at risk. If the Western Jurisdiction is this dissatisfied with The United Methodist Church, the gracious thing to do would have been to withdraw from The United Methodist Church. What is one of the hallmarks of love? Patience!
