Love and the Day of Judgment

Living Without Fear

Back in February, I attended worship at an historically black United Methodist Church here in the city of Rockford, IL. In his sermon, the Rev. Montel Putney noted that we human beings, created in the image of God, and having that image restored through the Spirit in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we believers need to walk like God, and talk like God, and do so without fear because it is this very Living Christ within us that gives us this power and authority. As this should always be remembered as Incarnate Love, the possibilities, particularly with regard to how we approach Final Judgment, should be clear enough.
