"While the bishops recommended the One Church Plan they affirmed that the Connectional Conference Plan and the Traditionalist Plan held values that are important to the life and work of the church...."

Correction: None of the proposed plans represent values important to the life and work of the Church, as EACH plan incorporates continued hatred of the GLBT community. Once again, bigotry and evil prevail in the UMC.

Way forward

The One Church Plan looks like the Split Church Plan to me. What will our bishops do if their least favorite plan is the one that passes?

Notable Quotes

“The present proposed divorce in the UMC is not about sexual morality or justice and inclusion. It is about who is in charge. The 2019 Special Called General Conference gave the ‘traditionalists’ everything they wanted regarding gay weddings and ordinations. But they are still leaving. ... Splitting the church is never about anything but who holds authority.”
