You'll get over it. Separation is underway now!

Some Methodist churches are already filing to leave. I am like many who have stopped attending and stopped giving. You should see our sanctuary - maybe at half of two years ago. Some conferences are tanking financially. Meanwhile, a few inner-circle types attend closed meetings at fancy places and say nothing afterward except some mushy-gushy churchy speak, "Oh, we respect each other and we feel so good!" Among we the pewsters, the differences are irreconcilable with those who would trash our Book of Discipline. We don't feel good. Some of us are angry, but I got over my anger when I left the Episcopal church over the same things years ago when the cancer of liberalism metastasized there. Now, really don't care....

Agreed, we need to separate

Separation over continuation with any church that will not adopt Nashville Statement and enforce the Book of Discipline

Notable Quotes

"Christ told us specifically where He would be found and where we were to worship Him as Christians until He came in glory: Christ is in the people who need our help. Christ is in hungry and thirsty people; in people without adequate clothing and shelter; in people who are strangers in a strange land and people who are imprisoned. Any so-called Christianity that ignores or, God forbid, abuses such people is pernicious heresy from the pit of hell. You spit on the Body of Christ in the Chalice when you abuse Him in the body of your neighbor."
